Sakura Girls Secondary School (SGSS) was constructed by the Japanese Government under the Grant Assistance for the Grass-Roots Human Security Projects (Ministry of Foreign in Japan) and is supported by JICA under Grant Assistance for Grassroots Projects, as well as donation from Japan.

　　Sakura Vision Tanzania (Tanzanian NGO) and Group Kilimanjaro, Inc. (Japanese Organization) manage the school together.
